Transcripts for International Undergraduate Applicants

In addition to your application and TOEFL/IELTS scores, you must submit your transcripts to complete the application process. Please do not send your transcripts until you have submitted your application. All official transcripts must be submitted in the native language and accompanied by a certified English translation.

First-Year Applicants

Send transcripts from all schools attended for grades 9-11, including in-progress or fall course work. Transcripts need to be sent directly to Cal Poly from the schools attended. After we receive your official transcripts, we will notify you if an independent evaluation of the international credentials is required. If this is required, you must pay the cost of the evaluation.

If you are currently attending a school in the United States, submit transcripts for all schools attended for grades 9-11, as well as a transcript for your current school after your fall grades have posted.

If you are following an IB curriculum, your official predicted IB scores are also required.

Transfer Applicants

Submit transcripts from all schools attended since secondary school, showing all coursework and any certificates or degrees received, sent directly from the institution. For applicants currently attending school in the United States, have your transcripts sent after your fall grades have posted. Transfer applicants who have attended an international school are required to submit an international academic evaluation from World Education Services, Inc.. for coursework completed at the international school, in addition to your official transcripts.
