Visa Requirements
Before attending Cal Poly, international students will need to obtain the appropriate visa.
Acquiring a student visa can be a lengthy and time-consuming process. The wait times vary by embassy, and we recommend that you start the process as early as possible.
Obtaining Your Visa
The first step in obtaining your visa will be completing your I-20 form. After you accept your offer of admission, you will receive an email invitation to log into the International Student Hub with your Cal Poly email and password. Here, you'll provide the information and documentation required for your 1-20.
