Graduation

If you are graduating and did not attend all quarters (fall, winter and spring) during the academic year, we are required to prorate your federal loans. Loan proration is only required for your federal student loans, your private loans are excluded.

Fall Graduates

If you are graduating after fall quarter, your loans will be prorated based on the number of units taken during the fall quarter.

Winter Graduates

If you are graduating after winter quarter, your loans will be prorated based on the combined units taken during the fall and winter quarters.

Spring Graduates

If you graduate after spring quarter, your federal loans will only be prorated if you did not attend either fall or winter quarter of that same academic year.
