Your cost to attend Cal Poly will vary depending on your program, residency status and living arrangements. Our estimates represent the average cost for a student to attend Cal Poly for one academic year.

*Registration Fees: Fees for California residents are based on full-time enrollment for the fall, winter and spring quarters and are subject to change.

**Non-Resident Tuition: If you are not a California resident, you will pay an additional $264 per unit. We base our estimates of $6,336 per year on the assumption that you will take 8 units per quarter. The accelerated MBA program non-resident fees equal $12,672. Your actual amount will vary depending on the number of units you take per quarter.

Books & Supplies: Your costs may vary depending on the courses you are taking each quarter.

Room & Meals: In accordance with California Assembly Bill 990, Cal Poly must provide information on the typical market cost of a one-bedroom apartment in the San Luis Obispo area. Typical one-bedroom apartment:  $1350 per month. The room and board expenses included in the off-campus Cost of Attendance represent the typical costs students pay when enrolled at Cal Poly. Actual costs of room and board will vary.  Many students living off-campus have roommates in order to keep their housing costs more affordable. 

Transportation/Personal/Misc: Based on reasonable but modest costs in regards to transportation, clothing, recreation and living expenses. Your costs may vary depending on lifestyle.
