Atascadero Colony in the 21st Century: Community Profile, 2020 Draft General Plan, and Community Design Element—conducted during the 1998/99 Academic Year by the Community Planning Laboratories (CRP 351/352/353) and the Urban and Regional Design Studio (CRP 348). The project receive a 2000 AICP Student Project Award for the "best applying the planning process" in April 2000, and a First Place Academic Award from the Central Coast Section of the California Chapter American Planning Association in May 2000. Avila Beach Vision 2020: Community Profile, and Community Plan—conducted during the 1997/98 Academic Year by the Community Planning Laboratories (CRP 351/352/353) and a collaborative Urban Design Studio (CRP 348/LA 352). The project received a First Place Academic Award from the Central Coast Section of the California Chapter American Planning Association in May 1999. Marina 2020: Marina-Community Profile and Marina 2020 Plan—conducted during the 1996/97 Academic Year by the Community Planning Laboratories (CRP 351/352/353) and the Urban and Regional Design Studio (CRP 348). The project received an Award of High Merit from the Central Coast Section of the California Chapter American Planing Association in June 1998. Urban Design Study for the Village of Arroyo Grande—conducted during the Spring Quarter of the 1992/93 Academic Year by the Urban and Regional Design Studio (CRP 348). The project received an Award of Merit from the Central Coast Section of the California Chapter American Planning Association in June 1994. |
