Dr. Conway served as chair of the Communication Studies Department from 2000-2007. While chair, he oversaw a number of major changes in the department, including revisions of the curriculum, expansion of the faculty, and the long-awaited name change to Communication Studies. As the senior member of the department, Dr. Conway has taught a wide variety of courses in the Communication Studies curriculum. His special interests are nonverbal communication, advertising, and gender differences in communication.
