Research Interests:Professor McKim's current research and interests are focused on the evolution of the human mind and behavior, especially, sex differences, life histories, aggression and xenophobia. Among the courses McKim teaches, one of the most popular is Sex, Death and Human Nature which reflects his current research and interests. Other interests include Precolumbia Mesoamerica.
McKim is the treasurer of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society, an international and interdisciplinary group of scholars who study human affairs from a Darwinian/evolutionary perspective.
