SAME Platinum MasterCard: Help Yourself, Help SAME

The new, low-interest SAME Platinum MasterCard, rolled out jointly on September 1^st, 2000 by The Society and FirstUSA, and available only to members, can benefit you and will benefit The Society.

Members can now obtain the new, low-interest, SAME Platinum MasterCard. To get this special card, simply call this toll free telephone number: (877) ARMED FORCES (276-3336), and mentioning code WG85. Operators are on duty 24 hours daily. The Society makes this new offer in association with the leading MasterCard and Visa lender in the nation.

The SAME Platinum MasterCard helps you and The Society. First, it is available to every member of SAME at a special introductory rate of just 3.9 percent APR. This low rate continues for five months; a good time to consolidate bills and take full advantage of this virtually unheard of low rate. After five months, the interest rate goes to a market competitive 9.9 percent. Second, and equally important, the SAME Platinum MasterCard helps The Society. Each time you use your SAME Platinum MasterCard, FirstUSA will make a contribution to The Society's, general fund. The more you use the card the more both you and The Society gain.

Society Executive Director Pat Stevens said this about the new affinity partnership: "Our first and foremost obligation is to deliver valuable opportunities and benefits to the 25,000 members of The Society. This MasterCard vendor offers a real benefit, just as our various professional education and training activities and business development programs open new opportunities for individuals, businesses, and government agencies. The senior vice president of the affinity partner, Joe Purzycki, said, 11 we see our new relationship with SAME as an extension of our commitment to the men and women who devote their skills and lives to our national security, preparedness, and well being." The vendor already offers credit cards in the name of four other military related organizations and is pursuing others.

In the foreground is a brilliant Society seal, presented obliquely, making it seem as though it is floating above the flag. The Society is proud of this new affinity program.
