Grading:
Three exams will be given to test your knowledge of General Bacteriology; 50 points per exam.  Also, an assignment worth 20 points will be due on July 20.  Bring a Scantron form (#882-ES) and a #2 pencil to each exam. Your final grade in this course will be determined by combining your lecture and laboratory course grades - each portion is worth 50%.  You must pass both lecture and lab in order to pass the class.

Missed exams:
Make-up exams will not be given, unless you speak with me PRIOR to the  exam time and date.  Examples of acceptable excuses are, "a serious illness" or "participation in an out-of-town Cal Poly sports event"; examples of unacceptable excuses are, ìI had to workî, ìI was out too late last nightî.  Exams must be taken within two days of the missed exam, unless extenuating circumstances exist, or a zero will be recorded for that exam.
