W E L C O M E to SBES

Welcome to the Calpoly San Luis Obispo SBES web site. SBES was established at Cal Poly in 1978 and shortly after became part of the national organization, National Society Of Black Engineers (NSBE). The chapter was created to academically and professionally support minority engineering and science students on campus. SBES is the largest University recognized African American academic and social club.

Mission: To increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, to succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.
