A Poly What?
POLY REPS is a voluntary, public relations organization of approximately 30 students who assist in the promotion of Cal Poly to prospective students and their parents, alumni, potential donors, and friends of the university. It is co-sponsored by the Admissions Office (Academic Affairs), the Alumni Relations Office (University Advancement), and the Student Affairs Division.
Our Mission Statement
- Promote Cal Poly and personalize the university to prospective students, their parents, and other visitors to the campus
- Increase awareness of the benefits of Alumni Association membership and encouraging Cal Poly students and alumni to participate in Cal Poly Alumni Association activities
- Support Alumni Association and Admissions Office events and representing the Cal Poly student body
- Develop student leaders who practice teamwork, self-motivation, creativity, and friendship
