Featured Plants
Acacia hindsii

See those yellow dots at the end of the leaves? Those are Beltian bodies that provide food for
ants that live inside those bull horn shaped thorns. Ants and this plant live in a
symbiotic relationship, the plant providing food and shelter while the ants swarm any
animal that comes along to eat the plant. This plant is in the Conservatory, however it does
not come with any ant residents. (It could become problematic for unsuspecting visitors to the conservatory!)
