Dr. Penny K. Bennett is an Associate Professor at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. Her teaching and research specialties are in digital printing, prepress and packaging. Dr. Bennett holds four degrees including a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho, a Master's degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, a B.S. degree and an A.A.S. degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Dr. Bennett came to Cal Poly in January of 2000 with 13 years of teaching experience having taught at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho,and the Community College of Southern Nevada in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dr. Bennett has published a book through GATFPress titled "The Handbook for Digital Printing & Variable Data Printing". She has also conducted research for Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF), written publications on Expanded Gamut Printing, VDP Marketing & Production Trends, PDF production and web-based learning. She has also given presentations both nationally and internationally in the areas of variable data printing and packaging.
