RESOURCES:
- Learning Center: Walk-in help center for lower division
science and math courses. Located in Building 52, Room A03. Staffed
by professors and physics majors. Stop by the Physics Department
or click here
for the current Learning Center hours.
- Textbook: Author - Knight, for Scientist and Engineers
- Reference: Study Guide
- Office Hours - Don't wait until you are in trouble in
the class. When you don't understand, ask! If you cannot get to
office hours for some reason, contact your instructor after class
or by email to set up a time to meet - or just stop by the office.
- Private Tutoring - Individual arrangements can be made
with Physics majors available for tutoring in 52-E25 (Science Building),
known affectionately as "h-bar" (a physics in-joke).
- Posted Solutions and Hints - Selected problem hints and/or
solutions will be posted on the bulletin boards just outside 52-A03.
- Printing Solutions - If you find that the page of the solutions
doesn't all fit on the page when trying to print, scale the document
down some, then print again.
