Welcome to
the Cal Poly Physics Department at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
The Physics Department, in the College of Science and Mathematics, has
30 faculty, whose primary function is teaching undergraduate physics
courses to students in technical disciplines. We offer programs of study
leading to Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science degrees in
Physics, and the Bachelor of
Science degrees in Physical Science with approximately 165 majors
currently enrolled. We also offer courses in astronomy, geology,
geophysics, and oceanography.
