Students with Music Keys
If you are only authorized/have only paid to have a music key for fall quarter, keys must be returned no later than Friday, Dec. 4.
EXCEPTIONS:
- Students performing on the Fall Jazz Concert have until Monday, Dec. 7.
- Music major instrumentalists performing a jury have until the day after their jury.
If you will be participating in an ensemble next quarter and wish to keep your key, you may pay the $10 Music Use Fee at the State Cashier in the Administration Building and bring your receipt to the Music Department office no later than the last day of classes.
Applying for a Bachelor of Arts in Music
Application Guidelines and Required Materials
All materials must be received on or before January 29, 2010.
Please note: Qualifying applicants will be requested to submit an online supplemental application. If you meet Cal Poly's admissions selection criteria, you will be invited by the Music Department to audition either by submitting a demonstration/audition recording or by a live audition. Fall 2010 auditions will be held on Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14, 2010. Application guidelines and required materials follow. Also, contact the Cal Poly Admissions Office for more information about Cal Poly.
The following materials are for students who have already applied to Cal Poly as Music Majors for Fall 2010. Students should not submit until they have been notified by the Music Department that they are CSU eligible.
