Recitalists Wanted
If you would like to perform on either of the winter quarter instrumental recitals, please discuss with your applied instructor and turn in a recital form to the department office no later than February 16.
Music Keys Due March 12
For those who have only paid/been authorized through winter quarter
- EXCEPTIONS:
- Students performing on the Wind Bands' Winter Concert have until Monday, March 15.
- Music major instrumentalists performing a jury have until the day after their jury
- Students performing on the Wind Bands' Winter Concert have until Monday, March 15.
- If you will be participating in an ensemble next quarter and wish to keep your key(s), you may:
- Pay the $10 Music Use Fee at the State Cashier's in the Administration Building and bring your receipt to the Music Department office NO LATER THAN THE LAST DAY OF CLASSES
- If you won't be participating in an ensemble next quarter, or you're not sure if you will be, please return your key(s) by March 12 to the Music Department office.
- If you do not renew/return your key(s), a hold will be placed on your records which will prevent you from requesting transcripts and registering for classes, and may also delay the posting of your degree if you are graduating. To release a hold, you must return your key(s) to the Music Department office.
Auditions this Weekend
For students who have applied to Cal Poly in Music for Fall 2010
Auditions take place in room 218 of the Davidson Music Center. Please park in the Grand Avenue parking structure or the G1 parking lot.
2010 All-State High School Music Festival
An opportunity for 200 talented high school instrumental musicians to perform some of the finest music written, conducted by internationally acclaimed guest artists in a world-class concert hall! Festival Wind Orchestra, Jazz Band and Symphony. Apply to participate!
