I have been a professor in the Mathematics Department at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo since 1991. I grew up in Ramona, California (inland San Diego County) and attended the University of California, San Diego for my B.A. and Ph.D. in mathematics. My husband, Matthew White, also teaches in the Cal Poly Math Department.
