the University of North Texas, Point Loma Nazarene University,
University of San Diego, and San Diego State University. She
is co-author of the 10-disk music software package that accompanies
the text book Basic
Ear Training Skills, written by Dr. Robert Ottman
and Dr. Paul Dworak and published by Prentice-Hall in the early
1990s.
Dr. Fose was the first faculty member at San Diego State University
to offer a complete music technology course online. Her online
textbook, Finale Tutorials for the Professional Musician, was
instrumental in her move toward her next career decision. In
1999, Dr. Fose left the university teaching world to work as
a consultant for CollegeUnits.com. In
that position, she created online distance learning courses
for several universities in various disciplines.
Currently,
Dr. Fose is an Instructional Designer/Information Technology
Consultant for Technology and Learning Services (ITS) at
Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, California. In this position,

at music conferences and universities throughout the country.
