TELESCOPE COLOR CCD CAMERA INFORMATION
  • First pictures taken at Cal Poly on 3/25/00 and on 3/27/00. The telescope is not polar aligned properly yet, so the tracking is not yet as good as it should be. The seeing was very bad, which blurs the details and makes the star images large. Also, I am still learning how to do this, so all things considered it is surprising the images are even interesting. This is a wonderful little CCD camera and we should be able to produce much better images in the future.
