History
-in the days of Tomodachikai 友達会-
Japanese Cultural Exchange (JCE) was first founded as Tomodachikai. Although uncertain of the exact date of origin, there's evidence of its existence in 1991. In order to avoid confusion for prospective members, Tomodachikai officially changed its name to Japanese Cultural Exchange in 2005.
