Annual Enrollment and Budget-Planning Timelines
Annual enrollment planning involves making projections and establishing targets for overall enrollment and for each discipline and setting new student admission targets for the subsequent college year. This data contributes to budget development as a basis for projecting fee revenues.
Planning for Next Year
- October - Initial enrollment proposal for next College Year submitted to Chancellor's Office; typically confirmed by January
- November/December - Preliminary planning, including continuing student forecasts, for next College Year enrollments
- January - Establishment of detailed enrollment targets for next College Year including new student targets by college, discipline, and level
- May - Newly admitted students submit Statements of Intent to Register
