It is strongly recommended that you look into your housing options soon after being admitted to Cal Poly as an international student since there is limited housing available both on-campus and off-campus.

Off-Campus Housing Resources
The Housing Office maintains off-campus rental information of housing, apartments, mobile homes, and an extensive list of private and shared rooms. If you wish to explore off-campus housing options you can do so by using the off-campus housing list on the Housing web page.

The University does not inspect, approve, or disapprove of any housing offered through these rental resources.

There are also many communities close enough for a 5-20 minute commute to San Luis Obispo, including: Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Cayucos, Grover Beach, Los Osos, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach and all provide public transportation to Cal Poly.
