Welcome! If you are a Cal Poly faculty member and wish to get involved in international education, you have come to the right place. Numerous international opportunities are available which offer travel, professional development and, most importantly, a unique teaching experience.

International opportunities include teaching on one of the faculty led programs in Australia, London, Thailand or with Cal Poly at Sea, coordinating departmental exchange agreements with an overseas university, coordinating an extended field trip with students within your department, serving as a resident director in one of the CSU International Programs sites, teaching overseas with University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC), and teaching and research opportunities with the Fulbright Program.

It is recommended that you inform your department head/chair and dean of your intention and to inquire about your college and department policies in regard to faculty participation in international education.

Cal Poly welcomes faculty members from overseas to study and do research.  They must first obtain sponsorship from a Cal Poly academic department or college.  Please see our web page with resources for international faculty and scholars
