Extended Field Trips
In addition to coordinating exchange programs and participating in university-wide study abroad programs, faculty can lead and participate in extended field trips. Extended field trips are organized and coordinated within an academic department and range in duration from one week up to an entire quarter.

Faculty interested in leading new field trip programs will need to develop an extended field trip proposal which would provide an overview of the program, itinerary, travel arrangements, travel and liability issues, fee payment plan, and funding structure of the program. This proposal would then be reviewed and approved by the department, college, and IEP.
