In order to use "new" effectively, you must know some information about
yourself that no one else normally would.  These pieces of information
are:

o    Your full name as it appears on your Student ID card or within
     student records (which ever is more current).  DO NOT use nicknames.
o    Your Student ID number (9 digits which are the same as your Social
     Security number).
o    Your permanent phone number including area code.  (This is usually
     your parents' phone number or whatever phone number you listed on
     your registration form with your permanent address.)
o    Your permanent address zip code (5 digits, see permanent phone number
     for a definition).
o    Your year of high school graduation.

You cannot proceed without this information.

If your permanent address has gone through a zip code or area code change
or you have changed your permanent address information, it can take up to
two quarters for it to be updated in the student database.  If you are
unsure of this information, please check with the records office in Admin
(Building 01) Room 222.
