Disk space is starting to get a little tight on the different sites. If you have any files which are no-longer needed, or may not be needed for a quarter or more, please either: 1. Download your files to a floppy using either Kermit or FTP software. 2. Use the compress command to reduce the filesize to a minimum. 3. Delete files which are no longer needed and won't be needed for subsequent quarters. You can use the command "cleanup" to do this. It will look at your files and present files to be deleted which are more than three months old (y=delete, n=keep). DO NOT delete any files starting with a period unless you know what they are used for! Keeping these files off the system keeps our backup load down by preventing unnecessary backups of unused files. System resources are to be used for academic projects and should be limited to such while resources are limited.
