AIX/370 to IBM RISC System 6000 User File Migration Schedule

The migration of user files from the AIX/370 PS/2 sites to the IBM
RISC System 6000 sites has begun with athena.  Barring any additional
complications, the following schedule will be followed for moving the
remaining PS/2 sites:

During these hours, the specified sites will be unavailable. 
Depending on the size of the file systems involved, the migration may
take a little longer than anticipated, or it may even finish early. 
Please plan your homework time to account for these outages.

The primary purpose of this move is to provide ada users with
increased cpu power by allowing their compiles to occur on an IBM RISC
System 6000.  By moving ada users to the RISC/6000s, all users should
experience better response time.  PS/2 users are being moved to
RISC/6000 model 560s with 128 Mb of memory and 4 Gb of disk space.
