Gopher has been upgraded!

The Cal Poly Gopher Server and client software on AIX have been upgraded
to version 2.016.  This makes the server a gopher+ server and the client
also provides some gopher+ services.

Some of these features include:

o       Sounds (Certain workstations only)
o       Movies (Graphical workstations only)
o       MIME Support
o       HTML Support (not fully functional in this release)
o       ASK Block Support
o       FTP Client using gopher interface is now built in
o       Several added internal commands
o       Internal viewer support instead of using another UNIX utility
        such as more
o       More extensive configuration options

One of the biggest improvements for providers is the addition of the ASK
blocks which will allow providers to create forms that user's can fill
out and gopher will process the responses when the user submits them.
(Sorry, this feature is not available in the VM gopher client, but is
supported by most other gopher clients currently available.)
