| Synopsis |
The mission of the sponsor is to be a catalyst for improving the management of pension systems and organizations around the world. This mission is achieved through funding relevant research projects, organizing discussion forums, and publishing the Rotman International Journal of Pension Management. ICPM takes both macro and micro perspectives. Relevant macro issues include optimal pension system design, regulation, and collaboration. Micro issues include agency costs, governance and organization design, investment beliefs, risk measurement and management, and strategy implementation. |

The Center invites applications for its Resident Fellowship Program for Academic Year 2010-11. The fellowship brings together academics, senior military officers, government executives, and others to strengthen the nation’s understanding of the ethics of national defense, war, and the military profession. Ideal candidates from academia will be published scholars with teaching experience in ethics, political theory, international relations, and/or public policy. The sponsor is especially interested in candidates familiar with current just war theory debates. |

Each summer during its annual season, the sponsor offers internships in all areas of arts administration. Administrative internships are intended to give hands-on experience to those interested in a career in arts management. All interns work as integral parts of the ADF staff in an invigorating arts environment and play an important role in carrying out the ADF’s mission to serve dance, dancers, choreographers and artists in related fields. |

This unique program provides an opportunity for individuals of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and experiences to directly participate in the legislative process. Each year, 18 individuals are selected to participate in the program. The 11-month fellowship provides an introduction to public policy formation and adoption in the California Legislature through full-time work as a professional legislative staff member. |

This program offers college graduates a paid, full-time legislative staff position in the State Capitol for 11 months. The fellowship program's primary goals include exposing people with diverse life experiences and backgrounds to the legislative process by providing research and other professional staff assistance to the Senate. |

| Synopsis |
The sponsor will provide funds for organizations to offer a series of cultural and humanities-based educational activities in communities to increase heritage tourism and promote economic development in Georgia. The GHC will fund one grant in each of the nine Georgia Department of Economic Development Tourism Regions. |

The sponsor supports scholars interested in being in residence at the Center for the Education of Women (CEW) to pursue research projects, of one to twelve months, relevant to women. Eligible applicants are scholars who hold the Ph.D. Scholars are eligible for stipends of up to $7,500. |

The sponsor invites applications for the Research Scholars Program. The purpose of this program is to encourage faculty to conduct new, high quality research with an emphasis on family business dimensions. Four to six grants will be awarded in 2010. Each winning proposal has a stipend of $5000. |
