The sponsor provides support for energy efficiency technical evaluations, Peak-Load reduction studies, energy procurement analysis, proposals that study the feasibility of implementing combined heat & power (CHP) and renewable generation, and Peak-Load Curtailment Plans. This solicitation is divided into three separate components: Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance; CHP and Renewable Generation Technical Assistance; and, Peak-Load Curtailment Plan Technical Assistance. |

The Education and Outreach Grants provide up to $7,500 to eligible groups to inform students and/or adults about key Lake Champlain issues identified in the management plan Opportunities for Action. The objective is to develop awareness, knowledge, skills and commitment on a basin issue so that informed decisions and constructive actions will benefit Lake Champlain. Hands-on activities for citizens are encouraged. |

The sponsor invites applications for an agricultural or natural resource professional, working with at least 5 producers, to develop an application to conduct on-farm research and demonstration with educational outreach in an area of sustainable agriculture. |
