Florida Golf Courses

California has some beautiful golf courses but it can’t compare to Florida. The sunshine state is home to the PGA (professional golf association), the LPGA, the World Golf Hall of Fame, and PGA Village.

There are approximately 1,400 golf courses in Florida, more than any state. The year round sunshine makes Florida great place to play golf for both residents and visitors. Professional golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Tiger Woods, and Greg Norman live in Florida.

Around the sunshine state there are hundreds of golf communities. These neighborhoods are typically gated and include a golf course, club house, and other amenities such as restaurant. And many of them are also on the water and have a yacht club. This gives residents - many of them retirees - easy access to golf and boating, two things that Florida is famous for.
