Words

I am not a POET.
I may have been one, ONCE.
But now all the WORDS seem LOST.
FAR AWAY, a confused JUMBLE
HEAPED together on the HORIZON.
INCOMPRESSIBLE sentances and WORDS
Not EXPRESSING me.
My EMOTIONS lost in the language,
That I dont understand anymore,
But all I have.

Pretty is as pretty does,
So look beyond the surface,
A miracle of passing years,
Still valid in the present,
Look deeper still to the heart of youth,
And see what you will find,
Un-tarnished by the empty void,
A gem of brilliance shines.
