VB Script filtering Intro VB Script to Zip Zip to VB Script Install PowerArchiver
How to Extract a VBS file
from a Zip Email Attachment

Since VB scripts are a common means of transmitting viruses by email, we have
implemented attachment filtering for them. In the event that you have a legitimate
need to send a VB script to someone, the attachment can be successfully delivered
by compressing it into a zip archive. Since zip archives are not filtered, the attachment
will not be lost.

When the recipient receives the email attachment, they can then extract
the VB script from the zip archive.

Start PowerArchiver

From the Start button, launch PowerArchiver.

Choose Open

Choose "Open Archive" from the File Menu.

Select Extract

Navigate to the location of the Zip file,
Select it, then click on the "Open" button.

Select Extract

Choose "Extract"

Navigate to the zipfile

Navigate to the zip file, then Choose "Extract"

Exit PowerArchiver

Choose Exit from the File Menu.
Now you have a VBS script at the location you chose.
In this example it resides on the desktop.
