| The advent of knowledge society
has rendered individuals and organizations all over the world to rethink their sources of values. Using technologies to facilitate the value creation process is now a critical practice. This practice is
susceptible to the issues of privacy invasion and copyright infringement.
These issues have generated enormous interests in and
controversies over the opportunities and challenges of technology
policy and law among businesses, governments, legislators,
academics, researchers, and the public. The International
Journal of Technology Policy and Law aims to
promote and share technology policy and law in the
fields of science and technology, political science, informatics,
sociology, and economics. The Journal invites papers
representing synergy between theory and practices to help policy makers
and executives govern and manage technologies and its related society, policies, and law. Emphases will
be on the related social, political and economic issues, as well as
emerging issues of interest to legislators, professionals, and
academics. The international dimension is also emphasized in order to overcome cultural and national barriers and to meet the needs of accelerating global technological, social, and economical changes. The IJTPL
publishes original and review papers, technical reports, case studies,
conference reports, management reports, book reviews, notes, and
commentaries. We
welcome both submissions and inquiries from potential authors.
