ICEB 2002 Theme: "Global
E-Business in Knowledge-Based Economy: Management, Practice, and Opportunities"
---
Electronic business paradigm provides the roadmap for a business corporation
to gain strategic competitive advantages through information and technology
management. It creates a knowledge-based economy, building upon the advanced
hardware and software infrastructure. This conference solicits the papers
for the tracks listed as below. While the main focus of the conference
is on electronic business, we also welcome papers in other areas of business
such as marketing, finance, and logistics where e-business has made a significant
impact. Interested participants are also encouraged to propose new tracks
for concurrent paper sessions, panel discussions, or general sessions presented
by industry experts or leading scholars
-
All e-business related full papers
submitted to the ICEB 2002 will be subjected to double-blind reviews. Based
on the review outcomes, the Program Committee will make recommendations
to the Guest Editors. The Guest Editors will subject the recommended papers
to formal reviews following the review process and timetable listed below.
A total of three best papers will be selected for publications in the IJEC,
provided they possess the expected quality set forth by the IJEC. Papers
of acceptable quality but not selected for publications in the IJEC may
be recommended for publications in the other sponsoring journals.
-
A submitted paper must not be under
the review of any other journal. Please specify the journal to which
your paper is being submitted.
-
Each paper will undergo two rounds
of double-blind reviews. Any paper fails to meet the required revisions
after two rounds of reviews will be rejected unless only minor changes
are needed.
