CURRICULUM & ARTICULATIONS

Back to Dairy Science Department The Dairy Science curriculum reflects a diversity of opportunity within the dairy industry. All students are required to take a core curriculum which exposes them to the basic features of dairy production and processing. In addition, students work with their academic advisors to "customize" an elective program area which meets their individual needs. These areas include: Dairy / Plant Management, Dairy Industry, Agricultural Communications, Pre-graduate School (both production and dairy product technology orientations), Pre-veterinary, Agricultural Education and Dairy Products Technology. In the elective program area, students have an opportunity to pursue their specific interests while still retaining a comprehensive dairy education and a timely graduation.
