Text: Calculus, 5^th edition, James Stewart, chapters 15-17.

Grading Policy: In addition to the three exams, there will be weekly graded homework sets and a daily query at the beginning of each class.

Grading Scale: A:90%+, B:80%+, C:70%+, D:60%+.

The final exam and each midterm will count 25%, homework will count 20%, and the query will count 5%.

Homework: Homework is once again a two pronged affair. On the back of this page you will find the first few weeks of the lesson schedule (the entirety may be viewed in Blackboard). There are suggested problems four nights a week that have been hand-picked to illustrate important topics or techniques. Though not due, you should endeavor to keep pace and do every problem.

In addition, each Friday I will post a homework set to be begun over the weekend and turned in on the following Friday. These problems will be a deeper test of understanding and may require a fair bit of effort. Your low homework will be dropped.

Please present neat, concise, complete work incorporating proper English and mathematical notation. Writing mathematics well is a craft, aim to hone this skill!
