Text Calculus (Fifth Edition), James Stewart, Chapters 15-17
Prerequisites It's essential that your algebra, trig and knowledge of derivatives and integrals (Calculus I and II) be in good working order. In addition, your understanding of vectors and curves in space (Calculus III) will be critical. If you feel at all uneasy about your understanding of calculus I,II or III, you may want to consider retaking some or all of your preparation. At the very least, you must have received a passing grade in Math 143 (or equivalent) in order to take Math 241.
