 Although you are not required to turn in the homework problems, it is critically important that you work on all of the homework problems before class on Friday! Each quiz will typically contain one problem that is exactly the same as one of the homework problems.
 Quizzes will be started in class on Friday, and will typically be due the following Monday.
 Class time on Fridays will often be devoted to working on homework problems and quizzes. The quiz problems will provide important practice for more challenging, examstyle questions.
