Parent E-newsletters
Cal Poly parents who register for the Parent Program e-news service receive the monthly Cal Poly Update for alumni, parents and friends and the quarterly Parent Program e-newsletters. Since the Parent Program communicates with parents exclusively by e-mail, it’s important to register for this service as soon as your student decides to attend Cal Poly.
To update your e-mail address or contact information, or to opt out of the e-news service, please e-mail your request to the Parent Program.
Missing Your E-newsletters?
If you believe you signed up for our e-newsletters but are not receiving them, please try the following.
Add “noreply@imodules.com” to Your Contacts
Cal Poly uses iModules, an e-mail contractor to send e-mail messages. To ensure the e-newsletters appear in your inbox and not in your spam or bulk mail folders, please add the iModules address to your contacts or "safe sender" list. Also, please check your personal inbox filter settings to move messages to your “inbox” when the "from" field says “noreply@imodules.com.”
The contractor does not complete spam request forms. If you have a spam blocker, adding the iModules address listed above to your contacts will ensure delivery.
Be Sure You Completed the Right Form
Many parents often confuse the Parent Program e-news service with the Admissions Parent VIP page. The VIP page is provides links to Cal Poly websites that parents of prospective and newly admitted students indicate are of interest to them. As students move through the admissions process, the webpage remains available for parents to view until the student is enrolled in classes.
Signing up for the Admissions VIP page does not automatically enroll you in the Parent Program e-news service. You must complete our online form for e-newsletters from Cal Poly. If you can’t remember whether or not you signed up, contact the Parent Program.
