Commencement
Cal Poly offers two commencement celebrations -- a spring commencement in June and a fall commencement in December. For ceremony dates and times, visit the commencement website.
Grad Days
Two months prior to graduation, students can order personalized graduation announcements, thank you notes and diploma frames during Grad Days at El Corral Bookstore. They can also schedule graduation portraits, order class rings and purchase their Cal Poly Alumni Grad Pack.
The Grad Center at El Corral Bookstore
Students pay their commencement fee, pick-up guest tickets for the ceremony and purchase their cap and gown at the Grad Center inside El Corral Bookstore. The Grad Center typically opens 3-4 weeks prior to graduation in May and November.
Graduation Arrangements and Orchid Leis
Poly Plant Shop is Cal Poly’s on-campus source for cut flowers, landscape and interior plants. The Plant Shop offers students the opportunity to work in a retail environment to get hands-on experience in all aspects of garden center management and operation. True to the spirit of Cal Poly, it is a ‘Learn By Doing’ full service plant shop.
