Eligibility

Selection will be a rolling admission based upon GPA, application essay, and faculty reference. Be advised that Cal Poly at Sea sometimes fills up. We use first-come-first-serve method to grant acceptance to the program

If space allows, non-Cal Poly Students who meet the minimum gpa requirement at their home university are welcome to join the program. Please contact the program director to express your interest in the program. Availability may not be known until after the application deadline.

Financial Aid
Eligible students, both those now receiving financial aid and those not receiving financial aid, may qualify for aid. In some cases, financial aid will be increased to meet the extra expenses incurred with an overseas quarter. It is highly recommended that you consult a financial aid officer to discuss your individual situation.

Scholarships
There are no program scholarships at this time. Cal Poly Academic Scholarships will apply to the quarter you are on cruise. College of Agriculture students can apply to the International Agriculture Development Scholarships.
