:: Letter 25, Cruise 2001 ::

Dear Future T.S.G.B. Student,

I would recommend anyone to go on this voyage. I have had several experiences that words cannot describe. It was worth the time, energy, and every cent.

The T.S.G.B. is a different world. It is not meant for close-minded people. It is not meant for people who are set in their ways. It is meant for people who want to see the world. Is is meant for people who want to make new friends. It is meant for people who want to make the most of their college career. It is meant for people who have their eyes open to all they see, hear, and taste. It is a trip for people who want to make themselves better.

The lifestyle of the ship is fun. Every day brings a new challenge. It could be classes, kitchen duty, or living in small areas. All of those items build character. I have personally grown on the cruise. I have learned that teachers are people too, that life on the sea is peaceful, and that the second you step on the ship all of your daily stress is left on shore.

The exotic ports make the whole trip worthwhile. Stepping into a different culture, eating the food, and meeting the people are experiences that cannot be matched. Walking around with your new friends, joking, laughing, and celebrating every moment on shore. Having crazy nights of dancing and singing at different disco's and bars. Learning new styles of dance and fashion and human interaction. Looking at your longitude and latitude and noticing that you are half-way around the world from home and you could not be happier.

All these experiences and more await you on the T.S.G.B. Make your college career the most it can be. Don't miss any opportunity to see the world with your friends.
