1998 STUDENT PAPER COMPETITION




OBJECTIVE
To encourage students to research an area
of interest and prepare and present a paper
at Student Night in Los Angeles on May 8, 1998
and at the International AWMA meeting in San Diego
on June 15, 1998.

ELIGIBILITY
WCS-AWMA is a non-profit technical, scientific, and
educational organization founded in 1957.
An applicant must be a full-time sophomore, junior or senior
attending college within the area served by WCS-AWMA. Graduate
students are also eligible.

AWARDS
A first place winner from each of up to 10 universities will
be named. Each winner will eceive a plaque and a $400 travel
allowance to attend the International Meeting in San Diego (June 14-19).
In addition, a $100 unrestricted grant is given to the advisor's
department at the University.
