**We the Black Students Union of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo have no affiliation with or support militant acts. The symbol below represents a unity of Black Students.   The South African flag was used because of the unity of the colors: black, yellow, green, white, red and blue. To us this represents a unity of cultures and countries. We are aware of the negative history of the "Black Fist".
Our intentions and use of the "Black Fist" are positive.
