*This event is designed to recruit and bring already admitted underrepresented
minority students to Cal Poly. At this meeting we shall discuss the
standing of African Americans at CalPoly already. Discuss matters on
how to get more minorities here and how we can help the current sutdents
here.

What: Culturefest X: a decade of discovery
When: October 21, 2007 1:00pm-5:00
Where: Mission Plaza in downtown San Luis Obispo
The Cal Poly Multicultural Center and Student Life
and Leadership will host the 10th annual community-wide festival of
culutral diversity. This event is an exhibition for many cultural clubs
and organizations both on and off campus.This celebration provides an
opportunity to educate and honor the different backgrounds and cultures
from which individuals come.

Time and Location: Tuesday 2 11:15 am, Spanos Breezeway Come and watch United Sorority & Fraternity Council organizatons and Cultural Clubs show pride in thier oranization by presenting a step, stroll, or chant specific to their oranization.
2/12- Stomp the Yard Film Screening

The end of black history month calls for a time to show some appreciation to one and other. This year the men will be hosting a wonderful night for the ladies. Men: it's time to get together and start your planning well before time. Ladies: sit back, find a nice semi-formal outfit, and get ready for an enjoyable night.

Conditionally admitted students will be hosted by students for the weekend. They will be able to see the collge life first hang and meet new faces before next year.
