ннннннннннн § If autoclaving liquid media, place aluminum foil loosely over the top of the container.

2.н Place the autoclave tray in the autoclave (be careful, the walls and inside panel of the door is hot!)

ннннннннннн § Tighten the door only a little past hand tight (door becomes tighter as the run proceeds.)

.
4.н Turn the control handle to 'sterilize'.н Sterilize for 20-30 minutes, or if autoclaving liquid media, consult the following table:

5.н Sign the usage log.
6.н After sterilizing for the desired amount of time, turn the control handle to 'fast exhaust' ('slow exhaust' for liquid media) and exhaust for ~10 minutes.
7.н After exhausting, turn the control handle to 'dry' for ~10 minutes (if you are rushed, this step may be skipped, but the contents may have condensation.)
8.н Turn the control handle to 'off'.
9.н Put on autoclave gloves, then open the door (turn counter-clockwise) and carefully remove the contents.
ннннннннннн § If the door won't open, just wait a few moments ё the pressure will subside.
