:: Robert F. Hoover Herbarium ::

The Robert F. Hoover Herbarium houses about 69,000 mounted plant specimens representing the diverse flora of Central Coastal California, western North America, and other regions. In addition, the herbarium contains several thousand more unmounted specimens that are a part of ongoing research projects, plus an extensive seed collection. The herbarium's collections, library, and laboratory facilities are a fundamental resource for student and faculty research in plant systematics.
