We
plan to have an alumni section that will eventually
become an electronic newsletter. We recently sent a
traditional paper newsletter to our 5,000 alumni. Future
newsletters will be accessable on the World Wide Web
through our home page, allowing us to provide more timely
information at a lower cost.
I
want to take this opportunity to thank our donors. We
have become a State-assisted university. This past year,
over fifty percent of the Department's expenditures
were financed by outside gifts. We now have four computer
classrooms with state-of-the-art equipment that can
access the Internet, World Wide Web, E-Mail, and many
software programs. This would not have been possible
if we had to rely on State funding. Thanks for writing
those checks!
